Find work worth testing
List ordinary recurring work. Do not start with a favorite app or an ambitious end-to-end automation.
Two-minute task inventory
- 1Look backward. What did you repeat at least twice last week? Think emails, summaries, research, handoffs, categorization, data cleanup, and first drafts.
- 2Name the output. Write the concrete result: a draft reply, a comparison table, a meeting summary, a tagged list—not “use AI for marketing.”
- 3Keep it reversible. Prefer a task whose output a person can review before it affects a customer, payment, account, record, or public channel.
